Problem is (hopefully) solved

I tried to ask someone at URI about the hold on my account, but (due to the holiday weekend) I couldn't get in contact with anyone until this morning ... Of course, I did a little digging over the weekend and found the answer to my quandry myself:

Considering the fact that this is the LAST CLASS that I need to take - which would complete my requirements for the program - the fact that they're delaying that inevitability up until the last moment is ... a little annoying, to say the least :|

Anyway, I've contacted my academic advisor, who said she will get in touch with the dean and have the hold lifted ... Hopefully, that process will move along rather quickly, since the class starts on Monday (yikes); she did suggest that I contact the professor and let her know that I plan to sign up for the class, just in case registration isn't complete before Monday.

That's not a bad idea, so I think I'll do that right now ... just in case there are any textbooks or the like that need to be acquired beforehand.
